The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning is seeking Proposals for Augmented Reality in Development Assessment - Prototype
The Department of State Development Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDMIP) has identified Augmented Reality (AR) technology on mobile devices as a user-friendly and accessible way to improve the community and assessment authorities’ knowledge and understanding of proposed developments during the development assessment process.
A staged implementation approach has been adopted by DSDMIP to explore the suitability of AR technology and refine business and performance requirements before investing in an ultimate solution for development assessment and public use.
This Invitation to Offer is for the development of a prototype that provides a working, interactive model of a potential end product/solution allowing limited use within DSDMIP. The prototype will be used to test and determine if the solution has potential to be further developed into a fully functioning product. Progress to the next stages of this project is depended on the outcome of this prototype stage.
