Request for Proposal: Banana industry communications program
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Banana industry communications program (BA18001).
The objectives of the services being sought are to assist Hort Innovation to:
* Increase industry understanding and adoption of best practice and emerging production and supply chain information in relation to R&D project outcomes and outputs
* Provide knowledge transfer to the banana industry value chain through targeted communication channels on research findings, best practice, emerging risks and opportunities
* Create a better-informed industry to increase farm productivity and banana quality across all business sizes of banana growers
* Promote Hort Innovation membership and engagement with the national R&D programs to all banana levy payers.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
The closing date for responses is 5.00pm (AEDT), 15 February, 2019.
