Design and Construct 20 Seat Spa - Blackall Aquatic Centre

The Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to design and construct a 20 seat Spa at the Blackall Aquatic Centre to complement our existing facilities which include an artesian massage spa and walk in access beach style 50 metre swimming pool.

The target group for the SPA are tourists and senior residents of Blackall and Tambo. The project objective is to maximise attendance at the centre and increase health benefits from physical activity and bathing in the natural artesian water.

Design outcomes include open plan, ease of access and engaging without unduly increasing operational costs, the feature being safe and complying with relevant safety standards, the design integrating with existing facilities, the SPA being able to be closed off from other facilities to provide flexibility in operations and it ideally being modular. A pricing guide of up to $200,000 excluding GST.

Proposals that source materials and local service/trade providers from the Blackall Tambo region will be favoured.
