Tender Description
Non-tension (bolted) connectors (commonly referred to as “Parallel Groove” or “PG” Clamps are used across multiple workgroups within EQL so a reliable external supply is required.
The manufacture, testing at works, supply and delivery of PG Clamps are primarily used for the no-load connection/disconnection of aluminium/copper/galvanized steel conductor combinations. All items will be used for connecting two conductors as specified for the use on overhead electricity distribution systems in a totally exposed environment.
Proposed Contract Term: 3 years + options commencing September 2019.
