EOI – Demolition and Removal of Ocean Beach Fire Shed

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Denmark is calling for Expressions of Interest from local community members, groups or individuals, interested in acquiring, in its entirety, the old Ocean Beach Fire shed, Ocean Beach Road, Ocean Beach.

Works are to include the removal of all external cladding, roof cladding and structure, internal structure, windows, roller doors, fixtures and fittings, concrete slab and all components.

All waste and building materials are to be removed at the expense of the applicant and the site and its surrounding area is to be left level and free of any rubbish and waste, upon demolition completion.

The applicant must terminate water, sewage and power services in a manner that they are still effective for any further construction, specifications of which will be provided by the Shire upon acceptance of your Expression of Interest.

All contractors or individuals involved in the proposed demolition and removal works are to be covered by their own personal and public indemnity insurances, a copy of which should be forwarded to the Shire with your application. Additionally any trades engaged by the applicant must possess relevant licenses and insurances for services undertaken.

Expressions of Interest are encouraged from all residents, groups and community members and should be formally sent through to the Shire at the below email address titled EOI – Demolition and Removal of Ocean Beach Fire Shed.

Submissions will be received until 7th February 2019 and the successful applicant will be notified within seven days of the closure of this submission period. Demolition is to be completed with 14 days of acceptance.
