Subject to the Superintendent's right to amend, the work comprising this Contract shall include the provision of all labour, the supply of all tools, plant and other materials, machinery, equipment and appliances necessary for the design and construction of one (1) only 4.5 mega litre water storage reservoirs located near Lloyd (Wagga Wagga), NSW 2650.

The reservoir shall be constructed of reinforced concrete, prestressed or post-tensioned concrete, complete with all metalwork, vandal-proof access ladders and stairs, galvanised structural steel platform, roof structure, colorbond metal deck roof including bird proof, pipework including valves and testing all as described in the Specification or as shown on the Drawings and referred to in the Schedule(s) and in accordance with the General Conditions of Contract AS4902-2000 and the Special Conditions of Contract. All work is to conform to the relevant Australian Standards and Codes.

Bulk earthworks for the project have been completed under a separate contract. Refer to section 3.8 for foundation and Appendix C for the latest survey of the site available at the time of issuing these tender specifications.

It should be noted that this reservoir will store potable water having each free and total chlorine concentration between 0.5 to 5 milligrams per litre (mg/L) and up to 10 mg/L when super-chlorinated. All construction materials are to provide protection against potential corrosion.

Tenderers are to note that the contract will be Quality Control and not Quality Assurance.
