Byron Shire Council wishes to appoint a contractor to supply goods and/or services in accordance with the Contract in Part A5. Byron Shire Council invites you to apply for this role.

The goods and/or services involved include the design, manufacturing and/or construction and supply of a Solar Shade Structure including supplying and installing solar panels and associated components including:

1. Design, manufacture and/or procure from pre-manufactured components a solar carport structure capable of having solar panels fitted to it.
2. Design supply and install a 99.9kW solar power system with high quality components
3. Design options for Level 2 and Level 3 EV chargers.
4. Design and connect the solar system to the grid at the Main Services Board (MSB) inside the building next to the pad mounted substation. This includes trenching, cabling, wiring and restoring the surface to its previous (undisturbed) condition.
5. Connection Agreement with Council's distribution network service Tenderer (DNSP) Essential Energy.

The Contract term is six months subject to satisfactory performance by the successful Tenderer, which will be determined by Byron Shire Council. There will be no contract extension options. The Conditions of Tender set out the details of how you may submit your Tender. You must complete the returnable schedules in Part B and submit them.

The anticipated start date for the contract is 12/02/2019.
