Tender Description
A suite of education resources (interactive online and printable) will be developed which support teachers and students to engage with the overarching theme of sun protection via lesson plans and activities which are linked to the objectives and outcomes of the NSW PDHPE K-10 and Science K-10 syllabuses.
Resources will support a whole-of-school and strengths-based approach to learning about sun protection behaviours across the curriculum and be age and Stage-appropriate.
Where possible, the project will be delivered in consultation with teachers and will include a period of testing draft resources in a classroom setting or through other research methods for review and refinement.
In your response to this RFI please briefly demonstrate your interest, expertise, and experience to develop, test and deliver these requirements for the project:
* Strong understanding of the Science and PDHPE curricula.
* Consideration of the propositions of the PDHPE K-10 syllabus including; focus on educative purposes; takes a strengths-based approach; value movement; develop health literacy; and include a critical inquiry approach.
* Online and interactive lesson plans and activities to sit on an existing website platform, which are smart board compatible and can be downloaded and printed.
* Development of a communication plan to promote the newly developed resources.
* Deep understanding of and connection to the teaching profession and school environment and ability to test materials in the classroom across K-10.
