Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Provide Warehousing services for the Barossa Project
* Support Warehousing operations

Outcomes / deliverables:
* Supply base facility - Located in Darwin preferably within Port / Wharf area or as close as possible, suitable to support offshore operations

* Enclosed Storage - Approximately 4000 Square meters Indoor storage area comprising of laydown area, receival area, racked storage, & inspection / basic assembly area. During major offshore campaigns, such as hook-up and commissioning, shutdown maintenance and capital improvement campaigns, it is anticipated that onshore storage and staging requirements will significantly increase. The successful supply base management contract will demonstrate an ability to increase storage acreage and support services during such activities.

* Bunded Storage - Approximately 1000 square meters of Dangerous & Hazardous Goods compliant bunded storage area to comply with AS/NZ Dangerous goods handling and storage requirements, allowing for segregation of DG as per class and PG for storage and transportation by Sea, Land & Air.

* Climate controlled / Dehumidified Storage Area - Approximately 500 Square meters for storage of temperature and atmosphere sensitive equipment.

* Offshore rated Containers – Include in quotation a schedule of rates for standard container types and sizes.

* Freight Services – Provide domestic logistics to and from Darwin Supply Base to Wharf / loading facility and across Australia when required. Including crane, forklift, and other essential equipment (wet hire).

* Lifting Equipment – Forklifts (assume 1 x 2.5 ton 1 x 5 ton 1 x 18 ton capacity) at the supply base, equipment to be utilized by warehousing crew.

* Warehousing Personnel - (reporting to MODEC on siterepresentative) comprising of 1 Supervisor, 2 Receival Officers, 4 x Yard operators (could be shared resources with your other clients to optimize cost and efficiency). Assist the MODEC Technical representative with preservation and inspection activities as required. Personnel will conduct complete goods inspection receipting marking and with barcodes or RFID systems as directed by MODEC Supply Chain requirements. Normal operations will be carried out on weekdays as per local regulations however weekend coverage in case of requirement must be factored in pricing to cover emergencies. Minimize the risk of manual handling operations both onshore and offshore by considering proper safe packaging methods are utilized. Manifest freight going out of the supply base ensuring DG documentation is completed as required and proper packaging and marking of Containers to comply with IMDG / IATA requirements.

* Office Setting – Onsite offices for 4 x MODEC site based positions. Offices to include air conditioning, workstations, Storage and high speed reliable internet capabilities.

* Waste Management - Facilities to manage segregate and minimize waste materials generated at the supply base and returned from the offshore facility, ensuring that recycling options are available where required.

* Contract Award 2022 (*); Operations 2022 (*) onwards.
