Tender Description
To be considered, the service provider should be able to meet the following criteria:
a) To have suitably qualified local personnel who have had experience in, but not limited to, the following areas:
* Maximising potential/performance,
* Relationship and marital problems,
* Work-related issues,
* Financial issues,
* Balancing family and work responsibilities,
* Concerns about children or family members,
* Changes at work or home,
* Depression, anxiety,
* Stress management,
* Coping skills, etc,
* Eating disorders,
* Alcohol and other drug related issues;
b) To be a local organisation with a local premises/office which provides ease of access for BCC employees;
c) To provide a designated contact point for enquires and reservations;
d) To provide an individual counselling and support service to all employees and their immediate family during BCC’s standard operating hours which ranges between
6:00 am – 6:00 pm;
e) To provide an individual counselling and support service to all employees and their immediate family limited to three sessions (unless authorised by BCC);
f) To provide group counselling and support sessions as needed;
g) To provide a service level that is flexible to meet the values and the operational needs of BCC;
h) To provide monthly visits of a maximum of ½ hour to the Works Depot at 7:30 am;
i) To provide brochures or flyers available for all employees and internal noticeboards;
j) To provide professional mediation services as needed;
k) To provide a monthly invoice costed on an hourly basis that includes the date of when the service/s was provided;
l) To advise the BCC contact on non-attendees;
m) To provide six monthly statistics covering the usage of the EAP;
n) To provide a schedule of fees detailing pricing structure;
o) To ensure all personnel entering a BCC workplace carry suitable identification to distinguish them as an employee of the EAP;
p) (optional) Provision of additional services as negotiated e.g. training, information sessions etc.
