Tender Description
The contract is a schedule of rates contract for the removal and replacement, including associated works, of approximately 2.8 km of existing failed kerb & gutter in Narrabri, Wee Waa and Boggabri.
The contract includes removal and disposal of existing kerb and gutter, excavation for and the construction of gravel pavement foundation, and the construction of new kerb and gutter and associated works environmental requirements and traffic management.
Council requires the works to start in the cooler months preferably March or April 2019 in order to minimise stormwater runoff from residential evaporative air-conditioning units into the pits. Council requires the date of practical completion to be no later than 31 August 2019
The Contractor to advise the planned commencement date and the duration of the works at the time of tendering.
