The objective of this project is to develop a solution for the replacement of the Mt Crosby East Bank RWPS HV motors and / or pumps to achieve the required level of flood resilience. As such, information is being sought on suitable submersible pumps and motors.

The base proposal to meet this objective includes the following:

* Twelve submersible pumps dry mounted at the bottom of Wells A to F capable of operating submerged.
* Four IP68 submersible motors mounted on the existing motor floor level of Wells G & H.

Other outcomes that achieve flood resilience will be favourably considered, including the options for:

* Submersible pumps suitable for installation at the bottom of Wells G & H.
* IP68 submersible motors mounted on the existing motor floor level of Wells A to F.

KBR has been engaged by Seqwater to develop a preferred solution for the replacement of the HV pump motors and / or pumps at Mt Crosby East Bank RWPS. As part of this project, a market enquiry is being undertaken to demonstrate probity that a wide segment of the market has been consulted, and to review the market capability. This process will involve a public notification process with the intent of encompassing the broad market for this equipment. This is a non-binding process intended to capture details of equipment solutions of motors and submersible pumps serving the need of the project including electrical motors, and/or electrical motors and pump arrangements.

The Supplier shall populate the Returnable Schedule in Attachment B, identifying which items can be supplied (or identifying alternate solutions). As this is a retrofit application, not all of the existing motor specific requirements may be able to be met, it this is the case, deviations should be advised by the Supplier.
