Tender Description
Townsville City Council operates a potable water system that services the township of Nelly Bay at Magnetic Island. The potable water system consists of a ground level concrete reservoir which is in poor condition and is currently offline for repair works. The water infrastructure is located off Kelly Street, Magnetic Island.
The scope of works includes following three (3) major components
1. Demolition and removal of the existing timber roof over the concrete reservoir and supply and installation of a new galvanized steel or aluminium roof system.
2. Remediation works on the deteriorated internal concrete surfaces of the reservoir.
3. Supply and installation of new inlet and outlet connection to the reservoir, as well as reconfiguration and connection to the existing inlet and outlet pipelines.
