Provision of Chipping & Mulching Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking an experienced and reliable shredding / chipping / mulching Contractor to fulfil the Principal’s requirements for the chipping and shredding of waste timber; mulching of green waste, green organics; and shredding of waste plastics and sundry recovered products at the City’s Henderson Waste Recovery Park (HWRP).

The Principal is also seeking the option of the Contractor owning the final product (mulch and woodchips). This would require the Contractor to transport those goods offsite where they would then be free to sell the material subject to negotiation.

The HWRP is the Principal’s only waste disposal centre and accounts for waste from both commercial and domestic sources and is located at 920 Rockingham Road, Henderson, WA.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of two (2) years from the date of contract award, with Principal instigated options to extend for a further one (1) year, plus one (1) year; plus up to twelve (12) months thereafter; to a maximum of five (5) years; the Contract is expected to commence in January / February 2019.
