Short-term Grazing Licences

⁠⁠⁠Seqwater manage a number of lease and licences, for various purposes including grazing, across its portfolio, including Wivenhoe Dam, North Pine Dam and Somerset Dam. The licence agreements for a number of current licenced properties will expire in July 2019.

Thus, Seqwater is approaching the open market requesting a price per head of cattle per week for each licence area. Each licence area has an assessed, sustainable maximum carrying capacity, expressed as a number of Adult Equivalents (AE).

The focus for the Short-term Grazing Licences procurement is to engage the open market seeking bids from suitable qualified graziers to manage of Seqwater properties, as well as, maximise rental return for grazing land in the Wivenhoe Dam, North Pine Dam and Somerset Dam areas.
