LG314/411/18/065 - Request For Information: To inform feasibility of outsourcing abandoned vehicle operations (excludes towing), in particular vehicle storage, release and auction services.
Council currently owns and operates its own 7,000 m2 abandoned/impounded vehicles and other goods storage facility at Coomera. Council is considering outsourcing the storage and associated activities to the private sector. Council requests information from potential suppliers on their service capabilities, storage capacities and indicative pricing for the supply of services described as follows. Where the document refers to an action by a Contractor, Council envisages that a contractor will deliver the service under an outsourced model, where the document refers to an action by Council it anticipates that the Council will continue to provide the action under the outsourced model.
