The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tender from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of drain cleaning services for short term periods to supplement Councils own plant for road construction and maintenance.

The Contract shall operate on a schedule rates basis for a period of two (2) years with the option for a further one (1) year extension.

Works will include the use of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to inspect drainage lines and the removal of debris from drainage lines using either suction or high pressure jets, and the removal of the debris from site. The types of drain cleaning services generally required under this contract will be related to road construction and maintenance and are detailed in the attached Specification and Pricing Schedules.

Tenderers will be required to have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, and to hold Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Victoria accreditation for the transport of prescribed waste to respond to this Tender.

Council reserves the right to award this contract to one supplier in whole or to multiple contractors.
