Tender Description
A tender has currently been advertised for the construction of an upgrade to the boating infrastructure at Clump Point, Mission Beach. Cassowary Coast Regional Council will be the manager of this facility once constructed. The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to assist in finalising the layout of berths and moorings at the facility and to establish contacts with potential future users.
This facility includes a detached breakwater protecting a limited number of overnight mooring facilities. These facilities include a maximum of 6 pen berths and 5 swing moorings. It is important to note that the limited number of overnight berths are intended for commercial operators that are currently or have clear intention and potential to contribute to the local economy.
Council is seeking expression of interest from entities that could utilise the new facility along with bringing economic benefits to the local community.
Submissions will be accepted until the close of business on Monday the 19th of November 2018.
