Waterford West SS Remedial Drainage Works

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DET) is calling for submissions from suitably qualified Contractors for the construction of remedial drainage works at Waterford West State School (“The Works”).

Submissions from Principal Contractors are sought with experience working in schools on drainage remediation and earthworks. The project will be procured under a Medium Works Contract.

Submissions close on Friday, 23 November 2018 at 5:00 PM.

Site Visit: Please note; the site visit will be at 7:00am Wednesday 14 November, 2018. Meet outside school gate on Short Street.

The proposed drainage project at Waterford West SS is for the purpose of eliminating ponding along the boundary of the school. The works entail laying stormwater pipes and pits, forming swales, sub surface drainage and turfing in an area that will have restricted access to staff and students. Experience on live school sites is essential with the project being procured under DHPW Medium Works contract with Special conditions.
