Sports Facility (AFL) Floodlighting

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is requires the services of a suitably qualified, experienced WA Licensed Electrical Contractor to undertake the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Sports Facility (AFL) Floodlighting at Botany Park, Hammond Park, Western Australia.

Hammond Park Junior Football Club (the Club) is based at Botany Park and has a membership in excess of four hundred (400) players.

The park’s oval currently has no sports floodlighting.

The Club has received a grant from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries - Sport and Recreation and Federal Governments Stronger Communities Funding Programme for the provision of floodlighting at Botany Park.

Lighting level for Botany Park is required to be fifty (50) horizontal lux; in accordance with Australian Standard 2560.2.3 for AFL club training.

It is the Principal’s expectation that the Contract shall be awarded in late November 2018 and design development work shall commence immediately upon appointment; with an estimated total design, supply/manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning period of sixteen (16) weeks.

The Contractor will be required to provide all labour, plant, tools and equipment, materials, fees and charges, chemicals, transport/cartage etc. and anything else necessary for the completion of the proposed Contract.

Concept design drawings have been prepared and a full statement of the design services and construction works required under the proposed Contract appears in the Specification (B01) and Special Conditions of Contract (A06).
