Geotechnical Investigations for Three Road Upgrade Projects, in Tamworth NSW

⁠⁠⁠Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for RFQ No.Q068/2018, Geotechnical Investigations for DSJN1125, DSJN1204 and DSJN1212.

DSJN1125: Oxley Highway and Country Road Roundabout. An upgrade of the Oxley Highway and Country Road intersection including a new concrete roundabout, upgrade of Country Road, an access road to the Tamworth Enterprise Area and a realignment of New Winton Road to intersect the Oxley Highway at the proposed roundabout. The design is being undertaken on behalf of RMS.

DSJN1204: Tamworth Regional Astronomy and Science Centre (TRASC) building and carpark. A new astronomy and science centre building is being constructed at Victoria Park, opposite the botanical gardens, including a new carpark.

DSJN1212: Duri Road and Bylong Road Intersection Upgrade. This project involves a road widening and an upgrade of the intersection of Bylong Road and Werris Creek Road to include a channelised right and auxillary left turn into Bylong Road.

The scope of works for the abovementioned projects are outlined in the quotation document. The design deliverables shall comply with the Project Standards and Specifications also listed in the quotation document.

TRC's timeframe is to have the deliverables progressively completed at the earliest opportunity (in the order of priority specified) and the final report by no later than Friday 18 January 2019.

Quotations close at 11.00am AEDT, Wednesday 21 November 2018.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any quotation and any consultant who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
