This is a Quality Assurance contract.

This Contract is funded by the State and Australian Governments.

Tenders are invited to become panel members for the provision of profiling, asphalt supply, haulage, paving and traffic control, by the Panel Contract at various locations within New South Wales and ACT.

The contract is for four years from April 2019 with a one-year optional extension.

Panel members wishing to complete asphalt paving must be suitably pre-qualified Asphalt Placement Contractors.

Panel members for milling only, must be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance in profiling of Roads and Maritime Services roads or similar.

Panel members for asphalt supply only, must be able to manufacture and deliver asphalt products in accordance with nominated Specification requirements in this contract.

A pre-tender meeting is to be held on Tuesday 20 November 2018 commencing at 10:00AM at Fairfield RSL, 14 Anzac Avenue, Fairfield NSW 2165 in the Sapphire Ballroom. There will be free onsite parking facilities. Fairfield RSL is walking distance to Fairfield Rail Station. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement.

To the extent required by the contract it is a condition for participation that tenderers comply with the Building Code 2016 (Building Code).

It is also a condition for participation in this Tender that, at the time of lodgement of the tender, the Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for the Australian Government funded building and construction work.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this contract. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response and to any successful applications being awarded. It is a requirement for this contract that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.
