BHP Brownfield Expansion (BFX) Project - Integrated Instrumentation and Control

BHP is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from contractors capable of performing a trade-off study to identify the appropriate Process Control System(s) (PCS) to be implemented as part of the BFX project.

Details on your organisational capacity, capability, and experience in delivering such services safely will be used to form a shortlist for tender.

The successful contractor, selected at the conclusion of this EOI and subsequent tender, will be capable of providing:

The contractor will be required to deliver the following:

* a trade-off study to select most advantageous PCS platform;
* develop a scope of work for the upgrade of a brownfield PCS where necessary for BFX;
* develop a BFX HMI operating philosophy;
* develop a BFX PCS architecture;
* define the BFX interface and integration requirements for vendor equipment and power system control platforms;
* develop an asset management plan for the PCS; and,
* develop capital estimates associated with the identified PCS for BFX.

At all times during the delivery of the services the contractor will be expected to adhere to BHP safety policies and standards including participation in BHP’s field leadership program.
