NEWest Alliance, a joint venture between CPB Contractors Pty Ltd and Downer EDI, is responding to the WA Government RFP for Stage 1 of METRONET.

METRONET is the State’s vision to integrate transport and land use planning and provide a framework to support sustainable growth of greater metropolitan Perth over the next 50 to 100 years.

NEWest Alliance will be tendering on the following METRONET Stage 1 Initiatives:
* Thornlie–Cockburn Link; 27.8 km of construction or relocation of track; construction of two new stations and alteration to Cockburn and Thornlie stations, bridge works to facilitate;
* Yanchep Rail Extension; 13.8 km of track construction, construction of 3 new stations and alteration to existing Butler Station, substantial earthworks associated

NEWest Alliance is submitting a proposal and in support of the industry objectives for this project we wish to engage early with the local supply chain to maximise local participation. We are inviting expressions of interest particularly from Western Australian companies interested in supplying to or in participating in this project. If shortlisted for the next stage, we will use the information from this expression of interest to assist in engaging with the local supply chain, during the Alliance Development phase.
