Scope of Work

The support structure of the Parker Point Reclaimer 3 (REC3P) centre chute skirt assembly is severly corroded. It was found that the parent material of the hard skirts was corroded and worn out beyond repair. The decision was then made to weld the hard skirt assembly to the section of structure above in the position of the soft skirt assembly. This resulted in a widening of the loading area onto the yard belt which has led to an ore spillage. To address this issue, new skirt liners and brackets will be fabricated and installed on the chute skirt assembly.

Work includes:

* Removal of existing skirts and brackets from the chute.

* Complete supply and fabrication of the replacement skirt liners, steel plates and skirt brackets for centre chute assemblies as per attached design drawings.

* Complete installation of skirt liners and brackets as per attached installation guide.
