Receival and Disposal of Recovered Glass - SMRC

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably experienced contractors to receive and dispose of glass recovered from co-mingled recyclables at the SMRC's Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) located in Canning Vale.

Tenderers must provide a plan for the beneficial re-use of the glass that demonstrates diversion of the glass from landfill.

The MRF currently produces a total of approximately 8,500 tonnes of coarse and fine glass fractions per annum from glass recovered from co-mingled recyclables.

Tender documents will be available for download from Tenderlink from Monday 15th October 2018 and response to Tenders must be electronically uploaded to Tenderlink not later than 1400hrs (AWST) Tuesday 30th October 2018

Late tenders will not be considered. Canvassing of Councillors or officers may invalidate the Tender. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
