This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Australian Research Council are looking for a third party to undertake a network design and configuration assessment and remediation. The assessment and remediation will ensure that the ARC have an optimally configured network to consume cloud services and also include analysis of the WiFi network and access points.
The Australian Research Council (ARC) are looking to have their network topology and design assessed to ensure an optimal configuration for future technology and security. The assessment will include an assessment of the DMZ, internal network and the WiFi networks that the ARC are responsible for. Remediation work may be required following the assessment.
The Australian Research Council (ARC) will start shifting workloads to cloud technologies, rather than hosting services internally. The ARC need to ensure that the network topology and design in use is configured with best practice in mind. This may include the consolidation or reconfiguration of existing VLANs.
The ARC would also like to have the WiFi networks assessed, as there may be an incorrect number of access points configured for the ARC workspaces.
In addition, an assessment and possible rectification of the SAN will also need to be conducted, to ensure the SAN between the Nexus Core and NetAPP and Dell Compellent Storage are being optimally configured.
