Registration of Interest for Systemic Disability Advocacy Services
Tender ID: 368824
Tender Details
Tender Description
The State Party is undertaking a Registration of Interest (ROI) process to determine which organisations may be interested in providing systemic advocacy services for people with disability in Western Australia (WA). This process has been informed by extensive consultation between the State Party and relevant community stakeholders which identified systemic barriers affecting the full participation and inclusion of people with disability in their communities.
The National Disability Advocacy Framework defines systemic disability advocacy as working to introduce and influence longer term change to ensure the rights of people with disability are attained and upheld to positively affect the quality of their lives.
The State Party has committed to partnering with interested organisations via a non-mandatory briefing on 31 October 2018 to inform the future procurement of systemic advocacy services via a Request for Tender (RFT) process.
It is recommended that organisations register their interest, and attend the non-mandatory briefing, if they intend to submit an offer under the RFT process.
