Armidale No 2 Shunt Reactor

⁠⁠⁠TransGrid wishes to establish a Contract for the supply of the following Item:

Item Description
One 362kV, 72.2 MVAr gapped iron core liquid immersed outdoor shunt reactor for Armidale Substation.

The supply must include:
a)The design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery, unloading, erection, testing at Site and delivery of any required spare parts, tools and appliances, and;
b)The supply of all approved documentation as detailed in this Specification.

The Contractor must include everything necessary, or usually supplied, to ensure that the plant will perform satisfactory for its intended purpose in the service conditions specified and provide for safe and convenient transport and operation. This must include components directly specified or not except for works and services provided by the Principal or accessories the Principal determines as not being required.
