AMP 029.580 Land Simulation Core 2.0 – Industry Briefing Session

⁠⁠⁠Defence will conduct an Industry Briefing Session on the Army Simulation Minor Project 029.580 Land Simulation Core 2.0 to inform potential tenderers of the scope and status of the Project.

AMP 029.580 Land Simulation Core 2.0 is an Army Minor Project addressing capability and manning shortfalls for the Land Simulation Capability to enable a scalable and persistent Land Simulation System that can be delivered on demand at the point of need.

The Project is currently seeking Gate 0 approval and will address five areas;
1. A software baseline to support the Land Simulation System and it's Common Architecture, including:
a. a Common Virtual Simulation.
b. a Common Image Generator.
c. enhanced VOIP software to support the conduct of training.
d. a low overhead constructive software operating Semi-Autonomous Forces.

2. Improved Data Warehouse functions,
3. Expanded Land Simulation Network,
4. C2 Stimulation (Gateway Management), and
5. A complimentary contracted workforce to support the integration and delivery of simulation enabled training within Army.

The aim of this Industry Briefing Session is to share information regarding AMP 029.580 Land Simulation Core 2.0 to address frequently asked questions and help industry prepare for the acquisition and support phases of the project.

The AMP 029.580 Land Simulation Core 2.0 Industry Briefing Session will be conducted at the unclassified level and is open to all members of Defence Industry and the ADF.
