TasRail is currently seeking the services of an experienced, quali ed and competent Contractor, with civil and rail experience to tender a price for completion of the whole of the works.
Key Points of the Tender:
* 3 formation renewal sites with the provision of an additional 2, subject to available funds.
* The selected sites are on both the South and Western Lines with site visits to be conducted on Thursday 11 October at 8.00am.
* Sites vary in length between 100m to 400m.
* One site on the South Line is required to be completed by the end of Nov 2018 and a site on the Western Line in the Spreyton area is required to be completed by mid Jan 2019 with others subject to an approved program for completion prior to May 2019.
* The Contractor is responsible to undertake all civil and rail components of the work.
* The successful Contractor must, where applicable, comply with the Building Code 2016, the Australian Government Building and Construction Workplace Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme, Rail Safety National Law (Tasmania) Act 2012 and Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and other relevant regulations.
