Fire Abatement Removal Panel

⁠⁠⁠Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4,111 km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.

The Council is required under the Local Government Act 1993 to conduct a Fire Hazard Abatement Program which aims to control fire hazards on privately owned land. Owners and occupiers have an obligation to ensure their property does not pose a risk to those adjoining their lot.

This Expression of Interest is for the remove fire hazards from properties in the Derwent Valley area for the upcoming 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 fire seasons.
