Library Air Conditioning Refurbishment

⁠⁠⁠Applications are invited for the above tenders. Tenders close at 2 pm on Wednesday, 31 October 2018.

The Burdekin Shire Council is upgrading its aged air conditioning equipment at its main Council Chambers Administration Office and Burdekin Library premises in Ayr.

The projects involve the staged demolition and installation of new water cooled chilled water systems, associated ductwork modifications, electrical works, building works, and new building management controls systems.

Due to the buildings having to remain in operation during the works, the projects require staging over a six (6) month period with the majority of the works being performed over August – September 2019.

The projects will be priced separately, and may be awarded to separate Contractors.

A mandatory contractor briefing will be held on Tuesday, 9 October 2018 at the Council Chambers, 1345 Young Street, Ayr at 10:00 am and at the Burdekin Library, 108 Graham Street, Ayr at 11:30 am.
