Tender Description
Parkes Shire Council ("Council") is proposing to undertake an expansion of the Parkes Airport to cater for larger aircraft, accommodate increasing demand on existing facilities and enhance the facility's ability to function as a hub for a range of aviation related activities.
Bitumen Sealing works include but may not be limited to:
(a) Supply of plant, equipment, materials, labour and the like for primer sealing of aircraft apron 1 and 2, taxiway C and taxilanes 1,2 and 3 pavement areas to airport specifications;
(b) Supply of plant, equipment, materials, labour and the like for bitumen sealing of aircraft apron 1 and 2, taxiway C and taxilanes 1,2 and 3 pavement areas to airport specifications;
The Principal (Council) will provide the following:
(c) Airport Work Safety Officer for critical airside works
(d) Site amenities and security fencing
Approximate summary of the constituent pavement areas is Total (approx.) 32,130 sq.m
