Yarra Valley Water is looking for potential contractors to construct the new Lockerbie Main Sewer (LMS). The LMS is part of the sewerage servicing strategy for the Northern Growth Corridor, servicing areas north of Donnybrook Road.

LMS will comprise approximately 9,200m of DN1200 to DN750, with approximately 30 maintenance holes. From connection at the end of the existing Amaroo MS, the sewer will follow the Melbourne to Sydney Rail Line on the East side, heading north to Minton Street where it crosses the rail line and then heads north for about one kilometre on the west side of the rail line. There is expected to be a mix of open-cut and trenchless construction methods required.
