Expression of Interest - Local Employment and Productivity Strategy

⁠⁠⁠The City of Canada Bay is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to prepare a Local Employment and Productivity Strategy for Canada Bay.

The key objectives of the Local Employment and Productivity Strategy (LEPS) and Action Plan are to:

• Understand the nature and scale of employment and economic activity that currently exists in the LGA and its relationship to the economy in Eastern City District and Greater Sydney.
• Understand current and potential future opportunities to grow the local economy and local services to realise the 30 minute city vision and respond to changing and emerging industries.
• Identify interventions that Council can make to implement priorities and actions in the Eastern City District Plan.
• Establish a strategic planning basis for the area and inform Council’s Local Strategic Planning Statement.

Respondents will be short-listed based on relevant experience, capability and capacity to fulfil the scope of services.

A budget of $120,000 to $140,000 (excluding GST) has been allocated to fulfil the scope of services.
