Expression of Interest - Urban Tree Canopy Strategy

⁠⁠⁠ The City of Canada Bay is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to prepare a Urban Tree Canopy Strategy for Canada Bay.

The key objectives of the Urban Tree Canopy Strategy and Action Plan are to:

• Understand and map existing urban tree canopy in the area.
• Develop a vision and set targets for tree canopy management which align with our vision.
• Prepare a plan which identifies resource needs, implementation frameworks, programs and projects which will support Council in meeting the vision and target.
• Establish a monitoring framework which will enable Council to review and report on the current status of canopy in the area.
• Ensure alignment of local strategy and actions with NSW Government plans and strategies, such as Greater Sydney Region Plan, Eastern City District Plan and Green Places policy.
• Establish a strategic place-based urban tree canopy framework for the area.

Respondents will be short-listed based on relevant experience, capability and capacity to fulfil the scope of services.

A budget of $60,000 to $80,000 (excluding GST) has been allocated to fulfil the scope of services.
