Dewatering Program 2019/2020

⁠⁠⁠Scope of work

The Service Provider must provide dewatering infrastructure across various Rio Tinto sites in 2019 & 2020. The scope of works includes design, procurement, fabrication, transportation to & within Site, installation / construction, testing & commissioning of new dewatering infrastructure; modifications / upgrades of existing water management infrastructure; and decommissioning, deconstruction and disposal of any redundant items.

The new dewatering infrastructure may include downhole equipment (bore pump, riser, probes, cabling and all other ancillaries), bore cap, flexible hoses, dewatering trailers (consisting of variable speed / frequency diesel generator, headworks, control panel, solar panels, telemetry and all other ancillaries), dewatering skids (consisting of variable speed drive, headworks, control panel, telemetry and all other ancillaries), pipework (HDPE / steel piping, valves, tee-sections, fittings and all other ancillaries), telemetry repeater trailers and programming & integration to site SCADA systems. Hire of temporary dewatering infrastructure may also be required.

Modifications / upgrades of existing water management infrastructure may include upgrade of existing pipelines, transfer pump stations, tanks, turkey's nests, water stands, discharge outlet structures. Upgrades / tie-ins to existing power infrastructure may also be required (e.g. overhead powerlines).
