Green Waste Management

⁠⁠⁠Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4,111km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.

Derwent Valley Council has a commitment to providing and managing a high quality network of assets and enhancing local industries to support our strategic needs and improve and enhance its civil infrastructure.

This tender is for the mulching and chipping of green waste and timber (up to and including 350mm diameter) up to 6000m2/annum. A detailed description of the requirements can be found in Council's Conditions of Tender, Scope and Specification document.

The Contract initial term is for a three (3) years from date of contract execution with a possible extension of two (2) years at Council's discretion.

A compulsory site briefing will be provided commencing 10.00am Wednesday 26 September 2018 at the Peppermint Hill Refuse Site, New Norfolk. Please confirm to the Council Contact by 12.00pm Tuesday 25 September 2018 with name of business attending.
