Tender Description
COP 1047 201819 - Services include the receipt and processing of Hard Waste from the Council and without limiting the generality of the definition of “Hard Waste”, Hard Waste items include:
* Tree prunings tied in bundles up to 300 mm in diameter
* Glass and mirrors in sheets no larger than 1m2
* Fridges and freezers with doors removed
* Furniture & bedding
* Mattresses
* Carpet, floor coverings, underlay
* Metal and timber items up to 1.5 metres in length
* Pottery, crockery and wash basins
* Washing machines, dryers and stoves
* Tools and gardening equipment
* General waste items able to be handled by two people
* TVs, computer equipment and electrical appliances
Hard Waste volumes for 2017-18 were approximately 700 tonnes.
