Utilisation of ECU Mount Lawley Mixed use and or Food and Beverage / Retail Space

** NO OFFERS RECEIVED** Expressions of interest are sought from motivated organizations or individuals to propose blue sky concepts to utilize a mixed use and/or food and beverage/retail space at the ECU Mount Lawley Campus.

The space will be available from 8 January 2019.

The space is currently utilised as a café (Central Café) and in a previous guise as a cafeteria style food outlet.

The internal leased area is currently 743m2, comprised of 408m2 front of house areas, and 335m2 back of house. Back of house areas currently include full commercial kitchen facilities with the vast majority of items owned by ECU. These items may be available for a new operator (subject to further negotiation). There is also a variety of nearby external general seating areas that will be available for use by patrons.

Whilst the preference is for ECU to maintain an element of food and beverage for this space ECU is also open to a shared foot print of retail, recreation, business incubation and other concepts that bring vibrancy and assist in activating the space and the surrounding areas. Multi tenancy options would also be considered.

To form a shortlist of innovative commercial ideas that utilize the nominated space within the University’s Mt Lawley Campus that will fit in with campus life and add to a positive student, staff and visitor experience.

The Expression of Interest process is aimed at seeking responses from interested parties without the need for respondents to produce costly and time intensive proposals.
