CHRC requires the installation of 4 garden beds across 3 locations in Emerald. There are 4 garden beds in total. 3 are of similar size, from Andrews Rd, to the corner of Cunningham Dr. The fourth larger sized bed will be on the Corner of Springsure Rd and the Railway line. The Traffic Management Plan and the Signage is to be contracted out.

The locations are:

* On the corner of Springsure Highway and Railway Line

* Along Springsure Highway between Andrews Road and Cunningham Drive

* Southern side of Cunningham Drive, on the corner of the Springsure Highway

The work required at each location is:

Placement of 3 garden beds at 30m * 11m in dimension. Each one requires

* 80 lineal metres of large rock border like the Emerald entrance silhouetted signs. Rock to be sourced for from Selma Quarry (15km east of Emerald)

* Ripping the ground, delivery and installing 70 cubic metres of soil to a height of 250mm. Soil to be sourced form the Transfer station.

* Delivery and placement of 55 cubic metres of mulch at a height of 200mm.

Placement of one larger Garden bed near the railway line

* 120 lineal metres of large sandstone rock like the Emerald Silhouette signs. Rock to be sourced from Selma Quarry.

* Ripping the ground, delivery and installing 110 cubic metres of soil to a height of 250mm. Soil to be sourced from the Transfer station

Delivery and placement of 80 cubic metres of mulch to a height of 200mm

There will be a site inspection on the corner of Cunningham Drive and Springsure Highway on Wednesday 19 September at 11AM.
