Tender Description

Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN (the PHN) is a commissioning organisation and is inviting Requests for Tender for the Psychosocial Provider Panel.

The PHN is one of 31 Commonwealth funded PHNs nationwide. It is a not for profit organisation which coordinates primary and preventative health care for a region of 161,000km2, with a population of 823,985 people; stretching from Glasshouse Mountains in the south, to north of Yeppoon and west of Emerald.

The PHN has three funding streams to procure psychosocial services for: National Psychosocial Support Measure, Continuity of Supports and the National Suicide Prevention Trial in the areas of North Burnett, Maryborough and Gympie. The PHN will establish a panel of preferred providers to deliver services under these funding streams.

Funding: The funding available to deliver services under NPS is just over $2million over three years.

Eligibility:
* Bidders must already have a footprint within the PHN region and must already be providing mental health psychosocial services.
* Bidders must have existing mental health funding arrangements with one or more of the following funding bodies; Department of Health, Queensland Health, Department of Social Services or be a PHN commissioned mental health service.
* Sole traders and Hospital and Health Services are not eligible.
* While its not an exclusion the PHN highly desires service providers who are NDIS registered and operating under the scheme.

Responses: Bid responses will only be accepted through this portal.

Who should complete the application: Organisations that fit the eligibility criteria; if a consortium Bid the Lead Agency must complete the response.

Response requirements: Responses can be saved as you go. You can enter and exit the response as many times as you wish. Responses can be edited at any time prior to the closing time.

Proposed Term: The proposed term of the contract arising from this Tender is until 30 June 2021.
