Market Research
This expression of interest is for market research. Rio Tinto Iron Ore is seeking to find out the capability and capacity of service providers, specifically for the following:
The West Angelas MEM workshop has a 12 bay main workshop and a Boilermaker workshop with two bays. There are a total of 4 bays which have railway lines set in the floor for track machine access. Each track bay has 18 rails each @ 18 metres long, 144 metres of rail per bay. The rails extrude from the floor up to 10mm in areas creating a trip hazard and an uneven surface to work on.
Scope of Work
The Service Provider is required to machine the rails down to from 10mm to 3mm to reduce the potential of a trip hazard and allow safe access for forklifts and EWP's. The works include, but is not limited to:
* All mobilisation to site, inductions, training and contractor management system (CMS) requirements
* Daily return transportation from accommodation to site
* All plant and labour necessary to complete the works
* Supply of all materials, tools, equipment and all other services and systems necessary to complete the works
* Security and protection of the site, temporary works and all material and construction plant in all weather conditions
* Complete defects and final Inspection
* Handover and acceptance of the completed works; and
* Clean up and demobilisation following the completion of the works
