Proposal for Café Operator Services

⁠⁠⁠This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the provision of procuring Café Operator Services for the Treasury Building, King Edward Terrace, Parkes ACT.

The Treasury Café consists of 242sqm of internal lettable area which is inclusive of a 9sqm storage area. The Café is located on the ground floor of the Treasury Building, Parkes ACT and is accessible by the public. An external courtyard area of 50sqm and a further 26sqm of area is available if required. There is approximately 1,500 staff working within the Treasury Building.

The Licensee will be required to provide Café Services at the Premises and are required to hold a relevant Food Licence or be able to obtain a Food Licence to operate in the ACT. The Café operated will be required to provide a variety of quality food / drink options for breakfast and lunch services that provide value for money.

The RFP is seeking a Licensee to provide Café Services at the premises for an initial term of five (5) years with extension periods of three (3) years and two (2) years with the proposed hours of operation for the Café being 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday excluding public Holidays.

Tenderers are to propose an upgrade scope of work to the premises to enhance the look, feel and operation of the Café and space. The initial fitout works are expected to be undertaken at the commencement of the Licence, however any work will need to be conducted to minimise downtime for the Café. The Licensee is to propose the fitout work and factor in the costs within their financial model included in their tendered offer.
