Seqwater's objective in conducting this EOI process is to review the capability and suitability of each EOI respondent (Respondent) to perform the work on the Project. After the EOI process, Seqwater may, in its absolute discretion, select a shortlist of Respondents to whom a detailed Request for Tender (RFT)

The Mt Crosby Water Treatment Plant (WTP) complex consists of two plants, East Bank and West Bank, which are deemed critical assets. The WTPs treat water from the Brisbane River system, which comprises about 50 percent of the total water allocations held by Seqwater. Mt Crosby WTP provides water for the greater part of Brisbane, supplying approximately 50 percent of the water produced by Seqwater for South East Queensland.

Filtration system improvements are a key requirement of the East Bank WTP providing the ability to reliably meet the supply and compliance requirements for the next 25 years.

The refurbishment involves:
* Concrete rehabilitation of the existing filters and filtered water tanks structures
* Raising the filter end walls to allow for a deeper filter bed
* Provision of an air scour-based washing process to ensure continued compliance with capacity and water quality requirements
* Installation of a new filter underdrain system
* Supply and installation of new filter media
* Replacement of a Mild Steel Cement Lined Backwash main
* Replacement of existing filter control system and electrical works for new equipment
