Request for Proposal to Receive Funding to Purchase a Portable Accessible Toilet (Marveloo)

⁠⁠⁠DHS-50-1 - DHS is offering funding to up to two South Australian Local Councils (councils) and/or Not-For-Profit (NFP) organisations to purchase two portable accessible toilets (‘Marveloos’) for hire across South Australia.

Marveloos are purpose-built portable accessible toilets that can be used at major events such as the Royal Adelaide Show, Adelaide Fringe festival, WOMADelaide, Adelaide 500, as well as events in rural and regional locations.

The Marveloo is a mobile accessible restroom that meets ‘Changing Places’ specifications and has the following features:
* Overhead ceiling hoist compatible with an Eclipse 100 series;
* Height adjustable adult change table;
* Curtains for extra privacy;
* Access ramp and automatic door;
* Extra space to accommodate a carer;
* A fully accessible toilet;
* Heating and cooling, and
* An external sun shade.
