⁠⁠⁠Early tender advice for Proponents to design and build the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link.

To be released next week, the Request for Proposal calls on consortia to participate in the selection process for the delivery of the Yanchep Rail Extension and the Thornlie-Cockburn Link under a bundled competitive alliance model.

The Yanchep Rail Extension is a 14.5km project to extend the Joondalup Line from Butler to Yanchep. New train stations will be built at Alkimos, Eglinton and Yanchep.

The 17.5km Thornlie-Cockburn Link will provide Perth’s first east-west rail connection, linking Thornlie and Cockburn Central train stations. The project will involve construction of two new train stations at Ranford Road and Nicholson Road.
