Household Hazardous Waste Services

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from appropriately licensed contractors to provide collection, treatment and disposal services for household hazardous waste (HHW) from designated waste facilities.

Respondents must demonstrate lawful handling and transport of the waste, including:
* regulated waste transport licensing;
* waste tracking; and
* dangerous goods licensing.

HHW refers to residual household products that contain potentially hazardous, corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients, such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries and pesticides. These HHW products may be Regulated Waste and require special handling and treatment prior to reuse and/or disposal.
