Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified civil contractors for the replacement of a DN300 & DN375 rising main in a combined trench on a new alignment approximately between Rose St and the unnamed road between River Road and The Albert Bowls Club in Gympie, Queensland.
The scope of works includes:
* Approximately 441m of DICL PN20 (Tytonxtreme) DN375 for the G3 rising main and approximately 458m of PN16 PVC-O DN300 for the S11 rising main including:
* Installation of all valves, fittings and bends
* Thrust restraints/anchor blocks, trench stops/bulkheads and concrete encasement
* Connections between the proposed new and existing sewers
* Scour/Gas release valves, pits and associated works
* Commissioning works including testing (air testing/CCTV)
* Reinstatement of site to existing condition (paths, roads, grassed areas, landscaping etc.)
* Removal and disposal of all waste material from the site and finishing the works to a high standard.
* Environmental Management as identified in the Contractors Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
* Traffic Management as identified in the Contractors Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
* Safety Management as identified in the Contractors Safety Management Plan (SMP).
* Quality Management as identified in the Contractors Project Quality Plan (PQP)
